President Companys Prize 2009
The Plataforma Proseleccions Esportives Catalanes gave last Thursday 10th of December the fifth President Companys Prize, which recognizes those persons or institutions that have done an important task in defence and promotion of the Catalan Selections.
On this occasion, the prizewinners have been the six captains of our Selections, as they participated in an advertisement asking for the recognition of this sport, in a moment and into a context where this cause wasn’t in, and less on the agenda.
During the ceremony, they also gave the silver badges to our Catalan Senior Selections that have been participated in international official competitions.
The Catalan feminine Selection of Fistball received by the organizers and by the Sports Institutions of Catalonia, with the vice president of the Generalitat, Mr. Carod Rovira, this badge for all its members.
